Afterward, Wandler then worked as a designer for Levi’s, handling the women’s Made and Crafted line. The whole experience would then cement the foundation for the line’s creation process—from where it sources its materials to how the bags are marketed.
It’s this background that set the tone of how the brand would progress beyond its structured designs. Its first foray into the online world involved names like photographer Leonardo Scotti and stylist Georgia Tal, who would both work on the brand’s campaigns. This push would then prove fruitful, as prominent retailer and influencer alike would soon take notice. But while careful deliberation might have been a big part of its success, there’s another part of the equation that brings equal—if not more—prominence.

Its designs are both simple and show-stopping
Wandler’s bag designs run the line between straightforward yet distinct, a winning combination of neutrality and femininity all the same. It’s an aesthetic that Wandler’s been cultivating for a while, almost to perfection, and many of the brand’s consumers are sure to agree.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the designer says that most of her collections are keen to “directional shapes” and a “dynamic use of colors,” noting that many women feel drawn to such a design. But keep in mind that Wandler bags do not rest on aesthetics alone—instead, its level of functionality also informs its look, making it equally utilitarian and classy. And while most of its collections may be targeted for women, the use of soft-yet-bold colors and its androgynous style also makes it equally wieldable to both sexes.
